Welcome to the Independent Free Nation of Walton. Our goal is to develop a new world standard of what a nation can look like.

 

We are a group of like minded individuals who have become disenfranchised with the current status quot of the worlds governments and have embarked on a journey building a new model of how we feel other nations can and should operate, giving power back to the people and away from corporate greed. We have decided to begin our Micronation entirely online so we can get a feel for how many other like minds would be interested in getting involved with the project.

 

For those who are unfamiliar with the term “Micronation”, it is basically a new country or model country. Micronations exist in many different forms, some are just an idea others are lived out on the internet and few even claim title to physical geographical locations on earth or other planets. Each Micronation is completely different and there members take its seriousness to different degrees, some have more fun with it and others legitimately what to build their own nation, we are the ladder.

 

We are looking to recruit people that share a similar mind set as us. For far to long the people of this planet have been living well be on their means and the means of what the earth can provide for us. Humans have long been trying to control nature and take it for everything its worth rather then living in harmony with it and taking only what we need and replenishing what we can. We live in a time where its possible to maintain our modern creature comforts of today’s society and still live in harmony with the only planet we have. The world is so obsessed with moving forward at such rapid speeds we often forget that sometimes we need to slow down, maybe take a couple steps back and reevaluate as we look at the bigger picture. Sometimes the old ways are better then new.

 

Our inevitable goal is to move this nation that was once just an idea, now an online reality onto the world stage by purchasing land somewhere in central British Columbia, Canada. It is our vision to establish the planets first carbon negative state. We are along way off but feel if the right people come together we can get there.
