Government Overview
The Independent Free Nation of Walton is a Democratic Monarch with the King holding limited executive powers.
The Government consists of six democratically elected members of HRM Royal council and the king. All matters regarding our nation and its people are discussed in council and then voted on by the elected members. In cases where there is split vote in council the king will step in and cast the final deciding vote. In addition to having the power of final vote on matters pertaining to our nation the king also has soul executive rights in cases of emergency and civil unrest as well as over land allocation/development and designations of national holidays.
The system is designed so that as our nation grows we can accommodate by adding additional members to council in pairs insuring the king will always maintain a deciding vote when council is split and in doing so keep the nation moving forward.
Any citizen of Walton has the right to introduce new laws and regulations to council members to be discussed in chambers and voted a pone by either members of council or a greater general elections in circumstances deemed by council to be in the greatest interest of the nation as a whole.
Because this nation is new, the king has decided to officially appoint the first three members of council with the following three members to be vote a pone in any upcoming election once we have built our web based community. Once Walton has established it self, holds title to land, and begins to build a physical population. Elections will be held in order to obtain a fully elected Royal Council
Our National Flag
The Flag consist of 2 horizontal green strips on a field of white over layed with an oak tree. Green representing our commitment to live in harmony with nature. White to promote peace and the Oak tree is symbolic of our strangth and solid roots as our nation continues to grow.

The Government Seal is the symbol of H.R.M. royal council and governing body of the Independent Free Nation of Walton. The shield represents the governments protection of the people. 3 stars for the past, present and future of our great nation. A crown and eagle for strength, pride and power. The surrounding crown of leafs is to state we are a peaceful and peace promoting nation
